I preferred Emma's Secret to the first book, Finding Emma. It was a heartfelt book about a family realizing that finding their daughter wasn't going to make their family go back to the way it was before Emma went missing. It was a sweet read and a feel good story. I felt like their was a lot more character depth in this book than their was in the first book. I still hated Megan, but I understood where she was coming from. Overall, it was just alright. I really did not like this book. For me it was just so boring, yes there was points that I really enjoyed. But I just could not get into this book. I felt sad when she went missing as that part was sad. But i got not get into it. I think that the characters were good and the relationship between the main characters were really good. But steeta Holmes writing style i really did not enjoy. I don't think i will be reading the sequal

Very predictable. No depth. Glad I got it for $1.99 but that was $1 too much
