Despite some really inexplicable decisions, and a new character that feels utterly squandered, I enjoyed this. The main storyline was solid and I guess I have a bit of a thing for ghost hunters-slash-debunkers. A shade above most of the rest, for me.(But seriously. You know a djinn is going to be speaking to you in Arabic. How hard is it to get someone on the line to translate? I live in a little Prairie town and I could still have someone local with just a couple of phone calls.) Once again, Kitty in the middle of some nasty stuff that goes down but this time it followed her home from Vegas. Kitty gives an awesome performance with the help of some friends and I was left on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next. I can't wait to read the next book. I'm interested in seeing when Cormac will get out of jail and what his little problem with his ghost is all about too.
