I was somewhat disappointed in this book. Thought it would be a better written book. It was an easy read. It's about two sisters who were separated at a very young age; Lindsay (the eldest) being adopted and Kerry-Anne being brought up in various foster homes. They meet when they are adults and begin to form a relationship. It has the usual benchmark of two sisters who start off on the wrong foot and then slowly forming a true sibling relationship. No surprise. I guess I was just looking for something more in-depth. Oh well. I thought that this one started off with potential. Two girls whose mother is a drug addict. They go into foster care and then they are reconnected years later. And of course one turns out great with a loving family and the other one, well not so much. There was some great potential with the characters and the story line. But I felt this was more of a romance than fiction. Everything turned out just a little too neat for me. I wish there was more conflict. That wasn't easily resolved "7 months later".

A fast, fun, predictable read. Nothing special.
