I don't know what to say about this book. I have reader KA's Colorado Mountains and it was a great series. So I had some great expectation for this one. Unfortunately, the heroine annoyed the hell out of me. I spent 75% of this book being so angry at her for her decisions. I'm surprised she hadn't been dead ten times over. And I kept on wondering why everyone, never mind the HERO, keep on putting up with her. I'll never understand her logic for the life of me or her penchant for putting herself and her friends in danger. This book was such a disappointment to me because I spent three quarter of it hating the obnoxious heroine. I had to force myself to finish it. I'll be honest, I was hopping she will get dump by the end of the book. I wanted to give this a 0 star, but I will give the hero and the heroine's best friend, Ally, credit for all the shit the heroine put them through. The cover threw me on this book. I know what they say - but whatever. The cover didn't sell me on it, even though I've basically been buying a new Ashley book every other day, I kept putting this off. And now? It's probably my favorite. Readers who are fans of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series will likely enjoy this read. You get a slew of great characters with real deal lol moments and a great story line. And then there's the romance, of course. And if you've ever read an Ashley book, you know she does it right. This time it's REAL right. And if you're unfortunate enough not to have read an Ashley book, this is a great place to start!
Likeable characters, light story. Will read more.
Indy is a nut. You have to laugh
