Wow. I wasn't sure about this book because I am not big into political storylines, but I ended up loving this. My only critique is that I thought the villain was obvious and I wish Grace had seen it sooner, and I hate that the only other real female presence is a negative one (the friend who shows up for 5 mins and has no real purpose doesn't count). In fact, all of the secondary characters could have used a lot more fleshing out, so I took a star off for that. But by the end of the book I was seriously rooting for Grace. I liked Jared too, and want them to be together, but more than anything I want Grace to kick butt and be happy. Can't wait for the next book! ARC received from NetGalley for honest review.I was pleasantly surprised with this story!I have to say first off that the depth of this story is amazing. There has obviously been a massive amount of research put into this story and that alone was enough to be in awe of!This was an completely different read than I am used to as it was so much more than just a romance novel. This was so well thought out and planned that even if you aren't big into politics(which Im totally not) that it is still an easily read story. The Author has done an amazing job of writing an amazing read that is not only original and well thought out but will also leave you hanging and never quite knowing what will happen next. The writing was flawless and flowed so such great ease that it was easy to find yourself getting lost in the story. The characters were so refreshing and new and even though it isn't something I normally would have found sexy and captivating you can't help but fall in love with them. This was a great read and I can't wait to see what happens next!
